Shane and Paul’s Charity Aid Initiative for Ukraine

The Ashford Lions are proud supporters of Shane’s and Paul’s Charity Aid Initiative for Ukraine.

Our new member Shane and his friend Paul have reached out to the great people of Ashford for support with their initiative to deliver a 4X4 ambulance to be used in Ukraine, packed with much needed supplies. Today, Saturday, they are heading out to meet with Lions in Poland and to hand over the ambulance with the supplies. The close ties to Kyiv Lions will enable the transport of the ambulance to Ukraine.

UPDATE: On Monday, 28 March 2022, Shane and Paul have delivered their ambulance to Lions in Poland. The ambulance will be taken to Ukraine by Polish Lions in collaboration with Kyiv Lions.
